Daniel is an ex-formula 1 engineer with a passion for systems thinking and a family history in horticulture. Daniel has a new-found love of fungi gained from five years researching how to make trees grow better. Currently running the business and doing a Phd in soil microbiome and impact on crop health.
KATIE CRITCHLOW

Katie is an experienced CEO and board member for high-growth, high-impact start-ups. Having spent 5 years building Nature metrics, a sector-leading nature data company, Katie wanted to get closer to making impact on the ground and so is super excited by Re-genus. Katie has a Biology degree from Oxford and a Masters in Environmental Economics from LSE. She has also worked for WWF in Borneo and run for Parliament!

Former Marketing Lead at Anglo American Crop Nutrients, with deep expertise in commercial strategy, driving double-digit growth, market penetration, and premium value from sustainable products in global agribusiness and crop nutrition Maya’s experience and network in natural fertilisers, combined with sharp strategic insight and delivery, provide a strong edge for our go-to-market strategy.
SAM BROOK
Head of Agronomy
Sam is a regenerative, nature-inspired agronomist who grew up on a farm but worked in Shipping and Horticulture before joining Re-Genus. 2025 Nuffield Scholar looking at alternative composting and nature-friendly practices. BASIS & FACTS qualified with Soil Food Web Foundation Course and BASIS’ Advanced Soils as well as Certificate in Sustainable Land Management. Keen to make a difference helping grow nutrient-dense crops from healthy soils using sustainable solutions.

Michael is COO with over 25 years’ experience in strategic business development and delivering complex technology solutions. He has led large-scale programmes across Europe, integrating engineering, operations, partnerships, and commercial strategy. With broad sector experience and a focus on scalable, cost-effective delivery, Michael drives high-impact growth and operational excellence. He’s passionate about regenerative innovation and using advanced technology to build sustainable, nature-positive solutions.

Former Director of Crop Science at Anglo American and Corporate Agronomist at Sirius Minerals, Robert brings extensive experience in taking new fertiliser products to market. He will guide our trial strategy and data delivery, ensuring investment is well spent and always focused on meeting end-client needs.
